Bilingual Education is the program for those who don’t know the language and need more education in English. Bilingual is also taught in two languages, that is a big advantage for us. We can learn two languages and we can learn perfect English. The Bilingual program helps a lot of us to get better jobs and better careers. It can teach us the importance of our language.

I’ve been in bilingual for 5 years now, and I think it is time for me to get out of bilingual. I want to learn more english and more areas of studying. In my opinion I think bilingual Education is for those who come here for the first time and don’t know the language well. After 2 years of been in bilingual I think we should get out of bilingual and be more open to other areas and other languages, as well.

I can identify with those who don’t know the language, and I can relate to them in many different ways. When I came here I didn’t know a lot of english for this same reason. In my opinion, bilingual has its own down side as well, you don’t get to speak english in same or maybe all of your classes, and you don’t have the chance to learn a lot of english from your classmate.

I’m not saying we should all get out of bilingual, but at least make an effort to get out there and conquer the world, and be ourselves. I’m planning to get out of bilingual. I have been in this program for 5 years already and I really want o get out, you get more classes that you don’t even need sometimes and it is a completely disaster in your program, because you don’t even have enough space because of two and sometimes three english classes.

Bilingual is an important program, really think so, but after a period of time we should get out and be more open minded about other oportunities in this country, which we have a lot of. I always said , if you know what you want,a nd if you believe in your self you are going to go far. If you don’t say what you want now you’re not goin to get it, you have to figth for what you want and you’re going to suceed in what ever you choose in your life.
